THE HERDS is public art and climate action on an unprecedented scale – an ambitious coming together of culture and climate.
Life-size puppet animals are travelling a 20,000km route from the Congo Basin to the Arctic Circle, via London.
Part of Camden High Street Live, the culture programme for the trial pedestrianisation of Camden High Street - creating a healthier, safer and more enjoyable place for residents, businesses and visitors.

Camden Council is reimagining Camden High Street and creating a vibrant, welcoming space that celebrates Camden’s unique culture and history.
The trial pedestrianisation will run for up to 18 months and will include a short section of the High Street, from the junction of Parkway, Camden Road and Kentish Town Road (just before Camden Town Underground Station) to the junction with Hawley Crescent and Jamestown Road.
