Threads of Places brings together five Camden-based artists exploring what connects us - not despite our differences, but because of them.

Through photography, painting, textiles, film and installation, the exhibition looks at the many ways our lives overlap. It explores the journeys that bring us to new places, the families and memories that shape who we are, the hidden worlds we build within us and our shared relationship with the landscapes and environments around us.

Even everyday objects and discarded materials become reminders that every place carries the stories of the people who have lived there.

At the centre of the exhibition is an interactive world map where visitors are invited to mark where they come from and trace the journeys that brought them to Camden.

As more people take part, individual stories become part of a larger picture, revealing the many paths that connect our community.

Threads of Places was selected from an Open-Call for proposals from the Camden Artist's Network.
