"The Fools That Are Left" is a 45-minute one-act play which reimagines the true story of the night that the inspiration for 'Frankenstein' by Mary Shelley was first conceived.

In the stormy summer of 1816, Lord Byron left England for Geneva, Switzerland. Soon after, he invited famed poet Percy Shelley, his lover Mary and her step-sister Claire Clairmont to holiday with him and his personal physician, John Polidori. One night while shut inside by a raging storm, Byron proposes that the party each write a ghost story to pass the time. Two years later, 'Frankenstein' was published.
