"Future stars of British Chamber Music." (Eaton Square Concerts)

The Halcyon Quartet make a welcome return to Conway Hall this Autumn Season. Haydn's mischievous 'Joke' Quartet sets a playful tone before Florence Price's exquisite folksong-inspired counterpoint reveals a still-underappreciated American voice. Korngold's lush, cinematic Second Quartet closes in high Romantic style.
