Free

This will take place in the Nightingale Room in 10 Keats Grove (the library building) next door to Keats House (in the same garden).

This workshop takes inspiration from the famous 'Ode to a Nightingale' which was written in the garden at Keats House. Keats sat under a plum tree and penned his famous lines after listening to a nightingale singing.

Children will get the opportunity to see what real nightingales look like, learn about their habits and hear a recording of their song whilst making their own folded and decorated birds.

This is a drop-in workshop and we recommend you allow a minimum of half an hour (arrive at any time, last entry at 3.30pm).

You can drop in on the day, but we recommend booking in advance to guarantee entry.

Aimed at children aged 5+.

There will be some toys available for younger siblings to play with.
