Julian Nicholas brings together four leading figures from the UK jazz scene, with friendships and musical connections going back some 40 years.

Saxophonist, composer and educator Julian Nicholas has been a member of legendary bands including Loose Tubes and Brotherhood Of Breath. A BAFTA-nominated composer, prominent educator and festival curator, his multifaceted musical world is ever-expanding.

Throughout his career, Julian has appeared at leading jazz venues including Ronnie Scott's, The 606 and The Vortex, and has performed with artists including Claire Martin OBE, Jim Mullen, Courtney Pine CBE, Carleen Anderson and Joe Lovano.

For this Jazz in the House performance at Lauderdale House, Julian is joined by Mark Edwards on piano, Nigel Thomas on bass and Winston Clifford on drums.
