Be inspired by objects from the collection and develop your drawing practice in this three-week still-life drawing course.

Join Usva Inei, a tutor classically trained in fine art, for this special three-week course, where you'll learn advanced drawing principles and techniques including: three-dimensionality in shape, texture and drawing the body.

With live tutor demonstrations and time in the galleries to study and draw objects from different cultures and time periods, you'll learn how to capture objects and gain a deeper understanding of skills to further develop your artistic creative practice.

This course has been designed as a follow-on to our five-week beginner's course, Drawing the collection, which covered the basics of line and mark-making, shading and tone, measurement, composition and narrative.

This three-week course is equally suitable for participants who feel confident with the basics or have gained some drawing experience elsewhere. All materials will be provided and you're encouraged to take your sketches home with you.
