Dolmuş Minibus is a vibrant cabaret performance that explores through music,. movement and storytelling the journey of SWANA immigrants who bring the iconic Dolmuş bus to London.

Through their initiative, they aim to create a self-organised, utopian community—a safe haven for SWANA immigrants in a new city.

The story unfolds through an interview conducted by Simon, a provocative TV host, whose divisive rhetoric pits Western and Eastern cultures against one another. Simon perpetuates orientalist stereotypes, questioning the legitimacy of these immigrants’ cultural narrative.

Dolmuş Minibus challenges the audience to consider a vital question: Who gets to tell the story of a culture? Blending humor, sharp critique, and popular music!
