Based on her empowering book 'A Self-Love Journal for Amazing Black Girls', Ruby Mulraine - founder of The Blk Classroom, award-winning media professional, and creative educator - invites you to a vibrant workshop for ages 8-16 and their families.

Drawing on her career at BBC Radio 1Xtra and years of inspiring young people, Ruby brings storytelling, empowerment, and Black history to life. Discover the stories of trailblazing Black girls and women, from historic icons to modern-day change makers.

Participants will design a personalised tote bag celebrating a heroine’s story - so they can “carry her power” beyond the session and into their everyday lives.

Part of Camden's 2025 Black History Season Programme.
