West Indian radicals led major protest movements against racism and colonial rule at home in the Caribbean and in the UK during the 1920s and 30s.

After challenging the might of the British Empire, the British West Indies swung behind the war effort and played a pivotal role in the Allied victory.

In this illustrated talk, historian Colin Douglas, author of "The Caribbean and the Second World War", will share this story and the links to Camden.
