As part of Camden’s Black History Season, African Leaders in Camden, is a bold and dynamic celebration of individuals of African heritage who are redefining culture, sparking innovation, and building bridges across communities through their work.

We have trailblazing speakers, not just from traditional sectors, but from less conventional, boundary-pushing roles: authors who challenge narratives, project managers who’ve turned craft into cultural influence, and other visionary leaders who are making waves in their fields.

We are shining a light on the people leading grassroots initiatives, mentoring young people, or driving social change from the ground up, their stories matter.

The event will include:

  • A panel discussion and Q&A session, encouraging dialogue between speakers and attendees.

  • Networking opportunities to connect with professionals, creatives, and community members.

African Leaders in Camden is more than a talk, it’s a celebration of identity, excellence, and community. If you’re a student, just starting out in your career, or creative enthusiast aged between 16-25 years, this event offers inspiration, connection, and cultural discovery in equal measure.

Let’s create a space where authenticity, creativity, and leadership shine.
