"I was never taught how to be seen." After its world premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026, 3.2.1. Hold Me On Stage comes to London.
Daphne Bell is trapped inside a colourful claw machine, surrounded by stuffed toys and one impossible desire: to be chosen.
Blending musical theatre, physical performance and dark humour, this 40-minute solo show transforms audition anxiety into a playful yet unsettling exploration of visibility, inadequacy and the exhausting need to prove that you deserve a place on stage.
As the machine keeps playing and the claw keeps choosing, Daphne begins to question what happens when your sense of worth depends on being picked by someone else.
What if no one chooses you? Do you still stay on stage?
Written and performed by Selin Bakan, supervised by Taner Rumeli, and produced by Stüdyo Kolektif.
