Light Up Kilburn

We brightened up the winters evenings!

Look up, look around! See the lights, see the colours. Experience the sounds and visions of Light Up Kilburn. Free and fun for all the family.

Thanks to everyone who came along and to all those who make Light Up Kilburn possible.

Along and around Kilburn High Road local retailers joined in our light festival with creative activations in their windows every evening from Friday 9th February to Saturday 24th February. There were also fun activities and events in the area for all the family. On Saturday 24th there was a colourful closing parade, along the High Road, ending in Kilburn Grange Park with entertainment and festivities.

Featuring awe-inspiring illuminations forming a trail and a magical spectacular parade, the festival brought light, colour, sound and creativity to Kilburn.

We also worked with schools providing creative lantern making workshops for primary school students to involve the wider community.

We had Lantern making workshops for the locals too. They created lanterns for the closing parade.
