Celebrating and reflecting
What a success Day of the Dead was this year with more people than ever! A celebration of life and a day of reflection as we remembered loved ones and the things they enjoyed such as dancing and delicious food.
The day of the dead (Día de Muertos) on Saturday 28th October 2023 was celebrated with fun activities for children and adults. The festival included live music on stage, contemporary and ancestral dance, creative workshops, a very live market with authentic Mexican crafts and food & drinks organised by Mexibrit, films and other activities including an altar and exhibition at Somers Gallery.
