Join Women in Art as they celebrate the 6th annual Women's Emerging Artist Painting and Photography Award 2023!
The Women In Art Prize, formerly called the Hollybush Painting Prize, is generously sponsored by Dame Emma Thompson, Susan Angoy, The Tim May Memorial Prize, The Mall Galleries London, Cass Art Genesis Imaging, and Zebra One Gallery.
The Women In Art Prize is part of a broader project by Women In Art to assist and celebrate women artists. As an organisation we focus on the careers of emerging female painters and photographers, the award will be moving into other mediums as we recognise other women artists want to be involved.
Women in Art is a female-led not-for-profit community whose aim is to support mentor and promote women artists.
This prize is aimed at supporting, encouraging and mentoring emerging women painters and photographers. Each year 22 artists are chosen from this award to exhibit in London. From these 22 talented women, the first prize is awarded to a painter with exceptional potential to become an established professional artist.
This exhibition offers a genuine opportunity for emerging women artists to further their careers and for art collectors to invest in the future of the art world’s emerging talent. The winner will be announced during an award ceremony on 7 September, and the shortlisted works will be on view in RBC until 29 September.
