The experience of home can be complicated, especially as intersectional folks who are navigating multiple identities. You Can Sit With Us is an exhibition where Artists and Designers share their work in response to home through a South Asian and LGBTQIA+ lens.

From the Queer South Asian house parties of the 90s to Club Kali - home was redefined. We weren’t celebrated or accepted in mainstream queer spaces, many folks felt out of place. Any spaces that did exist in Camden and London, have declined or disappeared over the years, leaving many of us feeling disconnected and isolated. We want to co-create a safer and affirming space to celebrate, love, mourn, grieve and make space to explore all of our Queer and South Asian identities in Camden and beyond. We welcome you into our home and invite you to participate in whatever way you feel comfortable.

On 19th July, 5-8pm, join Dhaga for an evening private view.

There will also be two workshops that you can join at the library during the exhibition:
