Join Amenda Davis, founder of Yogamenda Health & Wellness, for an afternoon of gentle yoga and meditation, accompanied by traditional west African music by Abass Dodoo of One-Drum Foundation.
Yoga, meditation and music can contribute towards mental wellbeing. This is an opportunity to take a peaceful moment within the bustling British Museum and leave feeling refreshed, energised and joyful. This class is suitable for all experience levels.
Important information for attendees:
Please remember to bring your own yoga mat and water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing
Please let the teacher know of any medical conditions that may require you to modify your practice
It's your responsibility to ensure you are fit and well to participate in the class
This session will take place in a private space but there may be some noise from other parts of the Museum.
This event is part of Camden Council's Black History Season which runs from October - December, to celebrate the incredible and wonderful achievements and contributions of Black people across Camden and the UK.
