Join Grammy Award-winning artist Kabaka Pyramid for a frank and honest conversation on the current state of the cultural scene in Jamaica, Rastafari in 2024, the system and the global music industry!

Reggae is often seen as a global phenomenon, not only for the quality of the music produced, but also for the messages of unity, peace and often highlighting the issues within the system.

Dynamic roots reggae has always had a home in London, and Camden was a pivotal place in the development of the roots scene in the seventies, with the great Bob Marley citing his time in the areas as one of the inspirations for tracks such as “Punky Reggae Party”, and seeing the Punk movement as mirroring the revolutionary fight that the Rastafarian fight was having with society.

In 2023, Rastafarian artist Kabaka Pyramid won the Grammy with his album “The Kalling”, produced by Damian Marley. He is embarking on a European tour, with multiple shows across the UK.
