Safeguarding adults in Camden: Tell us what you think
Camden Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board (SAPB) is running a consultation to find out the views of key servicer user groups, people with lived experience of safeguarding and the wider public to help the Board develop its priorities for 2022 to 2027.
The consultation survey is open till 10 September. Take part in the survey and have your say in keeping safe in Camden.
You can access the survey here.
The survey is also available in Sylheti, Somali and Easy read. Please email the responses to Patricia Cox at patricia.cox@camden.gov.uk. The postal address is 3rd Floor, Crowndale Centre, 218-220 Eversholt Street, London NW1 1BD.
The SAPB's previous strategy was from 2018 to 2021. The Board is now developing a new one that will be for 5 years from 2022 to 2027.
Everyone has the right to live a life that is free from abuse, harm and neglect. Watch this animation to find out Camden's approach to Safeguarding in the borough.
If you think an adult is in immediate danger you should call the police on 999 (urgent) or dial 101 (non-urgent).
An adult with care and support needs may be more at risk of, or already experiencing, abuse or neglect because they:
- are unable to take care of themselves or protect themselves from harm,
- depend on others for their care,
- lack the mental capacity to take a particular decision.
