Swiss Cottage Library
Swiss Cottage Library
A limited area of the building is still closed to public and staff use. This is to allow contractors to complete the building work. Note that it is possible to reserve items from Swiss Cottage again now.
Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Open+ back in libraries
From Monday 14 February we started to use the Open+ door entry system again at five of our libraries.
So if you come to one of the libraries before 12pm, you need to bring your library card and PIN number with you to enter:
The five libraries are:
- Camden Town
- Kentish Town
- Kilburn
- Queens Crescent
- West Hampstead
If you don't have a current library card, or you have forgotten your PIN number, please speak to a member of staff.
Increasing computer time
Library users can now use our computers for a maximum of four hours per day (but only for two hours on Sundays at Pancras Square).
If you are visiting a library for computer access you don’t need to book a place, computers are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
You can print from our computers using your library card, and pay with contactless, card or cash, at our self-service machines.
Limited copying is available on our public photocopiers. Please note this is self-service only, and limited to five A4 copies.
Scanning facilities are available in all libraries.
