Help keep Camden clean
Do the right thing with your waste
It’s your responsibility to dispose of your recycling and rubbish correctly. If caught fly-tipping, you could receive a £400 on-the-spot fine, or £100 for littering. This is called a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN).

We work with our partner Veolia to support safe community litter picks - including the recent Great British Spring Clean.
We are able to provide Camden based residents and groups with litter picks and bags for their clean up event.
Whether litter picking by yourself or in a group, please make sure you follow:
- public health guidelines to help prevent the spread of coronavirus
- clean-up preparation and safety advice
Please note - Regent's Canal, Regent's Park and Hampstead Heath are not managed or maintained by Camden. We would advise you to contact the appropriate land manager first if you intend to pick litter in one of these spaces.
Keeping Camden's streets clear from dumped rubbish project
Camden local beautification project
We have launched a new project with Keep Britain Tidy that that aims to tackle illegal rubbish dumping in Camden.
We are looking for a group - you and at least one neighbour, friend or family member - to tell us about a rubbish dumping hotspot in your area.
With hands on support from Keep Britain Tidy, and grants of up to £800 available, we will then work closely with up to eight groups to transform the spot into a beautiful space.
