Worldbuilding: Science Fiction Writing Workshop for Women

On International Women’s Day, women and non-binary people of all ages are invited to join in for a beginners' worldbuilding workshop. This is the first step in writing a science fiction short story, where you will begin to imagine all aspects of your alternative world. We will take inspiration from fantastical settings in books by women authors (some of whom wrote under male pseudonyms) in the exhibition, from Ursula K. Le Guin to James Tiptoe Jr. to March Piercy. This workshop accompanies the exhibition in LIKE GODS by Ruth Beale at the Swiss Cottage Gallery.
