Inverness Street Bloc Party: 50 Years of Hip Hop

The Inverness Street Bloc Party presents "Camden Celebrates 50 Years of Hip Hop"
This year marks the 50th anniversary of hip hop culture, so join us on 26 August as we celebrate its birthday!
Camden Council is presenting a family friendly and engaging one day event to celebrate, educate and reflect on the impact of hip hop culture over the last 50 years and its roots in Camden.
Local Hip Hop DJs from the Dig It Sound System will start the party with a family fun warm up. Following this, a lineup of homegrown established and new talent will perform, showcasing spoken word, DJing and dance, which will engage us on a journey through the decades revealing Camden’s rich history and links to this genre of music.
Guest artists include DJ Matt White, Sarah Love, and DJ 279.
