This year in line with the UK/India year of culture 2017 our festival Camden Kalā shines a spotlight on and celebrates India’s vibrant heritage both within Camden and beyond.

Retracing Ribeiro exhibition 
Camden Local Studies and Archives Centre, Holborn Library, 10 April – 30 June 2017 


A new National Lottery Funded exhibition explores the legacy of the prolific Camden-based Indian painter Lancelot Ribeiro (1933-2010). This exhibition is part of the Retracing Ribeiro project and Camden’s 2017 India arts programme.

Queer Asia: Conference and short film festival 
SOAS University of London, 15 - 18 June 2017

‘Queer’ Asia presents their first-ever film festival and Conference on expressing Queer Worlds from Asia. Drawing on the themes of the conference, the cinema will reflect issues around Decolonisation, Decriminalisation and Desire in Asia.
