Sunday music groups

The following groups meet at Camden School for Girls, Sandall Road, NW5 2DB every other Sunday afternoon.

The Sunday groups have an annual membership fee which is split into 2 installments. You will need to pay for the year, even if you are not able to attend all the dates.

Camden Concert Band

Details: For brass, woodwind and percussion players of grade 4+ level who love to play music from stage and screen, as well as light Western classical music. The band has played at The Royal Albert Hall, The British Museum and The British Library as well as touring.

Cost: £124.72, paid in 2 installments of £62.36 help is available to those eligible for free school meals)

Camden Jazz Group

Details: For players of all jazz instruments. This groups focuses on improvisation without printed music and developing listening skills. The group is led by jazz pianist Nikki Yeoh, who has worked with Camden's young musicians for many years.

Camden Youth Jazz Band (CYJB)

Details: For saxophone, trumpet, trombone, keyboard, bass guitar, electric guitar, drums and percussion players of grade 6+ level. The band has played at The Royal Albert Hall, LSO St Luke's, The Jazz Cafe, Lauderdale House and has toured in Europe.

Cost: £149.40, paid in 2 installments of £79.70 (help is available to those eligible for free school meals)
