Community festival funding has closed. You can apply for any event to take place in the borough via the event app: https://app.apply4.com/eventapp/uk/camden 
 

Camden Council opened funding applications for Community Festivals and Events from December to March. Community festivals and events that receive a grant will also receive a waiver of all non-statutory fees and charges such as road closures, trading licenses, waste collections and parking suspensions relating to an event. 

Applications which celebrate the Kings Coronation in May, 75th anniversary of Windrush and the 75 Anniversary of the NHS in June, Pride in June, South Asian Heritage Month in July to August, Diwali in October and Black History Season between October - December were particulary welcomed. 


Applications are currently in review for grants of £200 to £2,000

Camden Community Festival Fund support events that promote the active participation of residents in community life. The aim of this fund is to sustain and develop Camden’s rich culture, its strong communities and dynamic partnerships by supporting quality creative events that meet the criteria set out below.  

Camden Council supports this grants programme in recognition of the contribution made by community festivals to strengthening Camden communities, and in developing a rich culture and economy within the borough. The Fund welcomes applications from partnerships between multiple groups that demonstrate a commitment to community cohesion and improving inter-community relationships.

Applications are open for street parties celebrating the King's Coronation and community members can benefit of waiving fees for road closures. For more information visit King's Coronation Street Parties
