THIS IS…A Variety Spectacular
The time has come for another free community celebration! Following on from the success of our first outdoor live art event on Ashdown Crescent, Camden, we have been invited back to host another FREE-to-attend, family friend variety spectacular.
There will be Magicians, Hula Hooping, Music, Beatboxing, Bubble Making & much more!
Expect Live performances from Vincent Gambini, Amazi, Ian Marchant, & Conrad Murray. No need to book, just turn upon the day! This is a BSL Interpreted Event.

THIS IS...… Summer at Scene & Heard
Following a week of Creative Arts Activities for local children age 7 – 11, we will have a sharing of work in our courtyard for Camden families and friends. Free to all.

THIS IS...Dia de Muetos
Dia de Muertos (Day of The Dead) is one of the most important religious holidays in Mexico. This festival is a unique opportunity to come and experience this Mexican tradition in central London.
The packed programme provides a veritable feast for the senses with Mexican arts and crafts, food, live Mariachi music and dance. There’ll also be ofrendas (offerings for the dead), films, poetry, presentations, literature, face painting and family workshops.
The piazza will host an installation of Corn, poetry, book exchange and sale, face painting and other surprises. And if you’ve never experienced an authentic Mexican Market, on Ossulston Street you’ll find over 40 traders bringing the Best of Mexico in the UK.

THIS IS…Kilburn
A celebration of Irish heritage in Kilburn with live music, kids’ storytelling, bodhrán workshops, food and drink and more!
The London Irish Centre presents ‘This Is Kilburn’, a community festival taking place on 20th Aug 2022 in Kilburn Grange Park NW6 2JL from 11am – 5pm in partnership with Camden Council. The festival aims to honour Irish migration to the area in the mid-20th century. Kilburn was such a popular destination at that time that it was once known as “Ireland’s 33rd county”. Expect music, storytelling, bodhrán (traditional Irish drum) workshops, food and drink and fun for all the family. Grab your blanket and join us on the 20th August.

The biggest annual block party in town, with music, food and drink, stalls, theatre and art. Welcome to York Rise Street Party!
Every year, York Rise and Dartmouth Park Road come to vibrant life with stalls, music, theatre and more. It’s the biggest annual neighbourhood get together in NW5, and everyone’s invited.

THIS IS…Camden's Young Creatives
Bank holiday weekend will see This is… Camden’s Young Creatives host a one-day event showcasing the best of local young talent on Inverness Street.
Camden resident and artist, Awate, will be curating the exciting day. Awate is a rapper from Eritrea weaving together psychedelic melodies and sharp, witty lyrics. Raised in Camden, London; AWATE is a former Roundhouse Resident Artist, and has gained the respect of artists such as Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), Idris Elba and Pharoahe Monch as one of the UK's finest writers.

THIS IS…Culture
Camden Black Creatives is pleased to announce that we will again be taking part in the Camden Together Season 2022. This year it will be a 1 day event and will celebrate the cultural diversity of Camden and will be held in the heart of Camden Town Inverness Street, on Saturday 1st of October.
The festival will celebrate culture through: Outdoor live Fashion show Live Music Art Food & Drinks Dance Poetry.
