Psycho Village -

"We are unstoppable – we are Psycho Village"
After bus fires, car crashes, being physically attacked and robbed, Austrian modern rock band Psycho Village releases UNSTOPPABLE. The record is about gaining strength from any source of negativity, pushing through and never giving up. "We want to show that no matter what happens, there is always a reason to fight and to keep going". After +200 shows with the likes of NOTHING MORE, PUDDLE OF MUDD, THE CALLING etc and selling + 10.000 records across Europe on their own, Psycho Village wants to spread their message across the US.

Most bands describe their latest album as the "most personal and best" they have ever made. Hardly any other band proves this statement as much as Psycho Village does.

"The album as well as the title song are very special to all of us, because they represent all the issues we've had to overcome in the past few years. During breakfast a hotel's housekeeper stole several 1000 British pounds from our room. Our tour bus was hit by a car on a highway, which caused the trailer to flip over and we had to pick up all the gear, guitars and merch from the (then completely closed) highway. We still managed to play the show in Hamburg the same day. We were insulted, spat at and attacked by the singer of a band we were on tour with. On another tour, a band drugged Daniel and spilled something in his drink, which led to a three hour blackout, him shivering really bad and arrythmia.

We've never let ourselves be intimidated by these negative experiences and emotions, however we've always gained strength and energy from those. On an emotional basis, this has brought us together as a band more than we'd have ever imagined.

Unstoppable is about gaining strength and energy from any source of negativity (whether it's in everyday life, mentally or in social life), about never giving up and in the end asserting oneself. Therefore we would like to share our message and our process with as many people as possible and show them that nothing should be strong enough to get you down.

Founded in 2009 by 15 years old Daniel Kremsner, Psycho Village started its ongoing collaboration with producer Gwenael Damman in 2012, which led to the release of the song "It's Okay" in 2013. Played throughout the Austrian radio, the single made it to number 32 in the country's Top40 Single Charts as well as into the Top10 iTunes Charts.
In 2014 the debut EP "Selfmade Fairytale - part 1" got released. The single "Perfect" made it to the 30th place of the Austrian Top40 and became number 1 of the iTunes Charts.
"Through My Eyes" also airplayed all over Austria, became number 1 at Radio Energy (NRJ) and also ended up number 1 in the iTunes Charts.

After numerous tours in Austria and Germany to promote the EP Selfmade Fairytale, it got re-released internationally in 2017.
Between 2017 and 2020, Psycho Village has played over 150 shows all over Europe and UK with bands like Nothing More (US), Puddle of Mudd (US), The Calling (US), Skindred (UK), Sick Puppies (US), Otep (US), Saving Abel (US) and many more.
In 2018 the single "What Was That" was released and has been streamed over half a million times until today. In late 2018 the band signed a contract for North America with the US label Pavement Entertainment and their distribution partner Sony in Chicago.
Shortly after, Psycho Village signed to German "Seven Us Media Group" for Europe and the UK.
The debut album "Unstoppable" will be released on April 17th in the US and Canada.
