The Yorkshire Grey is a friendly neighbourhood establishment where our attention to detail is to create the perfect atmosphere for our guests. The venue offers a variety of options for our customers whether it is a lunch, dinner, private functions, a business meeting or a relaxing night with our board games.

The YG has been a pub serving the community since 1676. It was given its name in dedication to the Grey Shire horses. Our horse was situated on the front of the building standing tall leading the path to Theobald’s Park in Hertfordshire. The pub was once renowned for brewing its own real ale, only one in six pubs that had done so in London. We are still a proud cask mark award winner for the ales on tap and take great pride in offering a changing range. We also carefully select our wines to give the best variety to suit all palettes.

Our kitchen serves up traditional pub classics such as fish & chips and sausage & mash, but there is a great infusion of worldly dishes curbing all desires. Our menu changes on a seasonal basis with daily specials to go with it keeping things fresh and new for a different experience with every visit.
