Join London Irish Centre for a night of music and stories with Northern Irish legend Joby Fox!

Joby Fox is a native of Belfast, a veteran songwriter, musician, and humanitarian who started out in post-punk (The Bankrobbers) and Celtic rock (Energy Orchard) where he penned the unofficial anthem for his hometown ‘Belfast’, before his solo career kicked off in 2011.

Joby has dedicated much of his life to peace initiatives and humanitarian work, both home in Belfast and abroad. Most recently he set up the NGO Refugee Rescue. The NGO has rescued over 20,000 people lost at sea in The Mediterranean.

Joby is a keen storyteller who draws you into his world through songs and tales. A soulful voice with thought-provoking lyrics, he takes his audience on a journey from the End of the War project, directing a short film in Belfast, chats about identity and reconciliation through music, and right on to his latest album where he speaks to the South of Ireland and the aspirations for a New Ireland.

This night combines Joby's twin passions of music and philanthropy and is not one to miss!
