Borges Machado mix field recordings, free improvisation and traditional Brazilian songwriting to create eclectic sound art experiences.
Their debut album, Building Sites was released in the Summer of 2020 and sources musical inspiration from gritty urban soundscapes. The concept of building new sites, new experiences, new dialogues through music is continually developed in all their work. Borges Machado are currently working on their upcoming album which explores growth and decay through entropy and climate change and the cycle of death and life through grief and renovation.
