"As lovers of great taste and exquisite food, we decided to share our passion for Sicilian cuisine with our local London community by starting up a Sicilian Supper Club," Jenny.
Our guest blog this week is from Jenny Clarke from Caponata.
The first Supper Club took place at the end of October and we had such positive feedback that we’ll be running it on a monthly basis. The next one is on Wednesday 23 November, 7.30pm.
Our Sicilian head chef, Vito Fanara, uses authentic ingredients from his homeland in all his dishes and as the season's change and Sicilian food festivals come and go he wanted to be able to give people the opportunity to see all that Sicily has to offer that he simply can’t fit onto the regular menu.
Being part of the Sicilian Supper Club is like becoming a member of our Sicilian family. Like every Italian meal time, it's a sociable occasion where we laugh, we cry, we share, we talk, we get excited and above all we get passionate about our delicious food and wine.
The Supper Club is such a sociable occasion that everyone sits together so diners can meet their neighbours and make new friends. Upon arrival, you will receive a glass of wine before being seated for your five-course meal. Each course is introduced by our head chef, who will talk to you about his inspiration behind each dish.
And it goes without saying that these dishes will not be complete without a sumptuous glass of wine. Each course is matched with a carefully selected Italian wine supplied by Zanotto Wines who will be on hand throughout the evening to discuss and indulge you with wine.
The Sicilian Supper Club costs £45 per person and includes dinner and drinks. We are limited to 40 people per event, so we recommend booking early. For reservations please phone 020 7387 5959. We look forward to welcoming you into our family.

Did you know we share our building with The Forge live music venue? They programme classical, jazz and world music and regularly together we host dinner and jazz evenings and Sunday classical music and coffee mornings. Visit forgevenue.org to see what’s on.
Coming in the new year, we will be hosting a farmer’s market in February and starting a series of cocktail making workshops. So there’s always something to do other than eat delicious food. Visit caponatacamden.co.uk or follow us on Twitter @caponatacamden to keep up to date.
