Open Garden Squares Weekend
Get behind the walls and gain inspiration from Camden's private community gardens and squares on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June.
You'll be amazed at the green spaces tucked away in both historic areas and around newer sites, such as King's Cross.
Organised by the London Parks and Gardens Trust, the event includes almost 30 gardens in the borough not normally open to the public.
Garden highlights:
- The Academy Gardens - hotel with two small courtyard gardens to the rear
- British Medical Association Council Garden (pictured above) - private garden designed by architext Edwin Lutyens
- SOAS Japanese-inspired roof garden - designed by Peter Swift with the theme of 'forgiveness'
- The Skip Garden - a mobile allotment on the King's Cross development site.
You can search further Camden gardens on the area maps for Bloomsbury, Camden and St Pancras and Hampstead. Locations throughout London are also listed on the Open Garden Squares Weekend website.
Tickets
£10 - one ticket allows entry to all venues over the entire weekend.
