The Best Indian Cuisine in London"

This is the best Indian cuisine I have ever eaten in London. I loved every bite and I will not only recommend others dine here, I will be going back for more mouth-watering food. Liberty Kebabish is family owned and run and they take pride in their ingredients, cooking, hospitality and your dinning pleasure. Real care, love and attention meant every bite I took was packed with flavour and spice.

The owner, Mr. Hashmi, opened Liberty Kebabish 30 years ago. He explained to me why my garlic nan bread had 2 layers and seemed so full of flavour. It?s because they add the ingredients inside and the double layer keeps it tender, moist and protects the flavours inside. Yum!

He also explained why his wife?s cooking was so good. It?s not only the spices and attention to detail. They only use fresh meat from a butcher. Never frozen. This means you get top quality, top flavour and they also add in top hospitality. Get in there!

The family are from Lahore in Pakistan, near the Indian border. They offer Punjabi cuisine, which means adding flavour and spice ? not overpowering heat you often see in southern Indian cuisine. The name Kebabish originated in the Liberty Market of Lahore in the 1970?s and Mr. Hashmi chose this name to honour the roots of the food they serve today. His wife cooks the wonderful food and his nephew helps to manage the restaurant. You are treated like an honoured guest the second you walk in the door.

My starter, Lamb Seekh Kebab, looked really juicy and my first bite let me know I had found a special place. Every bite had a real punch of flavour. Absolutely awesome! With my garlic nan, it really hit the spot. When my sizzling mixed grill was brought our on a tray, I could tell from just how it looked that this was absolutely top quality. The meat looked fresh, tender and appetizing. Yes it was! Gorgeous! Simply the best I have enjoyed in London in 32 years.

After my meal, the owner, Mr. Mohammad Yahya Hashmi, talked to me about the history of the restaurant, how they made the food, where he sourced the ingredients and made me feel a like a valued customer. The gentleman is pure class. "

You can book online for a table or takeaway. The have a FREE DISCOUNT CLUB. That?s right, you keep eating here and they discount the price. Their prices are already very good to start with. You can use this to dine in or take out. That?s just inspired customer service. They have a Sunday Buffet all-you-can-eat for just £4.95! They even change this menu every 2 weeks.

The restaurant is fully licensed (they have a full bar) and all meat is Halal.

Favorite Dish:
Starters ? Lamb Seekh Kebab and Garlic Nan Bread. Main ? Tandoori Mixed Grill with a side dish of curry sauce and rice. Add in a large bottle of Cobra beer and pure heaven!

This is a great restaurant!

The serenity and quiet inside is fantastic, and the tables have been beautifully decorated. The theme and the atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel very special, with quiet, peaceful music playing in the background, complimenting the fantastic display lay out on the walls and on your table.

The food is fabulous; the tradition of indian cuisine combined with the touch of the restaurant's personal attitude. The vindaloo is to die for, especially with the variety of breads and beverages all included. From the succulent meat dishes to the mouth watering chilly curries and the delicious vegetable mixes, this restaurant really has it all. And finally, the price. Me and my family ate out for a budget less than £30. And the serving was extremely fast. All the way from Slough, we experienced something like never before.

This restaurant is definitely worth going to. The food is an absolute delight, the price is small but the servings are big!

Very tasty and Excellent Service

Liberty Kebabish I was on the recommendation of his longtime friend Zahid Ali of Lahore. A very warm welcome in the restaurant we improve mood. I ordered Chicken Tikka (Boneless Chicken Pieces Marinated In Yoghurt And Spices And Grilled In A Clay Oven) and a girlfriend gave Lamb Seekh Kebab (2 Pieces) (Mixed minced Lamb With Herbs, Spices And Shaped Like Sausage, Grilled In Clay Oven ) and as an attachment Nanroghani. It was enough and very tasty. Excellent service real English. We encourage all those who want to enjoy meals in addition to English have the right Lahoursk? tandoori.

We found the food extremely delicious and out standing

I don't think there's a whole lot I can add to the flood of reviews on Liberty Kebabish @ Kentish Town, most of which I fully agree with. But I do want to state shortly about THIS place where I had pleasure of dinning along with multi national participants of a company workshop. We found the food extremely delicious and out standing. Spicy Chicken Karahi, Lamb Karahi, veg's special Aubergine , sinfully creamy Ras malai all the flavour and taste is unforgetable and undescribable:)

Try this place if you were in North London.

I have been to Liberty Kebabish about a dozen times now at various times and what never ceases to amaze me is the incredible tasting food. The best Pakistani food I have never seen in any of the restaurants in UK. They have an army of very attentive waiters and nice seating arrangement. Prices are very reasonable. It?s no surprise; these guys get so many high ratings. I would say this place is great for families or a quiet meal depends what time u go. I go in the evening and love observing the colour and scenery. Obviously at weekends it?s busier. Anyway be sure to try this place if you were in North London.

The Best Indian Cuisine in London

OK, so a few other great points about Liberty Kebabish.

OK, so a few other great points about Liberty Kebabish.

Best Indian Cuisine in London

This is the best Indian cuisine I have ever eaten in London. I loved every bite and I will not only recommend others dine here, I will be going back for more mouth-watering food. Liberty Kebabish is family owned and run and they take pride in their ingredients, cooking, hospitality and your dinning pleasure. Real care, love and attention meant every bite I took was packed with flavour and spice.

The Best Indian Cuisine in London

OK, so a few other great points about Liberty Kebabish.

The Best Indian Cuisine in London

OK, so a few other great points about Liberty Kebabish.

We encourage all those who want to enjoy meals in addition to English have the right Lahoursk? tandoori.

The Best Indian Cuisine in London

OK, so a few other great points about Liberty Kebabish.
