Learn about the wilder side of Camden
Did you know that Camden has over nine species of bats, two native reptiles and more than 11 species of rare wild plants?
Find out more about some of the more interesting and colourful animals and plants in Camden at the Marchmont Community Garden Partnership’s illustrated talk – ‘An Introduction to Urban Conservation and London's Wildlife’
Given by Tony Canning of the London Wildlife Trust, Tony will explain why wildlife conservation is important in London.
The talk is the first of a series of events to be staged whilst works are underway on a new garden which will be owned and managed by the local community. Attendees will also be able to sign-up as garden volunteers, or become a 'gardening champions' or 'trustees'.
