The Abbey Tavern
With a bit of something for everyone – drinks, food, and of course, music. You can sit indoors on comfy couches or take a drink out onto the roof terrace or garden bar. Alongside the usual pub fare the Abbey Tavern does a range of Caribbean food to tempt the taste buds. Good music is played on Sunday and Tuesday and entry is free.

Going out in Kentish Town means live music and great pubs. Some of the venues have a long history while others are new, as this area continues to evolve.
The Bull and Gate
It looks like a typical old boozer from the outside, but its etched windows, carved wooden arches and 20 year history of live music (Keane and Coldplay played here before they got really famous), make it anything but. There is also a pool table and darts board for more traditional pub entertainment.

The Flowerpot
A new addition to the Kentish Town nightlife, this venue hosts live acts each night as well as one guest DJ. There is no cover charge for entry as they want their customers to be guests and enjoy the music. They also provide a free BBQ on Sunday afternoons.

Annie’s Bar
You’ll notice the decor the moment you step inside – it’s elaborate and just a bit fabulous. Ornate furniture, a marble bar and glittering chandeliers create a glamorous setting in NW5 to sip a cocktail or enjoy a beer. If you are lucky you will also be able to enjoy the sounds of a baby grand piano being played by a lounge pianist - adding to the Annie’s experience.
