How to add an event on Love Camden
Here’s our step by step guide on how to add an event to Love Camden.
1. To add an event you will need to have an account on the site.
a. If you’re not registered on the site already then create an account.
b. If you are registered then log in here.
2. Once you are logged in either click on the ‘add an events’ button on the what’s on section of the site or go straight through now to the add an events form.
3. Fill in the details on the form
a. Add the details for the event including event name, venue, address, postal code and a brief description.
b. Choose the start date/time and finish date/time of the event and select frequency if the event is recurring.
c. Add the cost to the event, if it is free then leave the space blank.
d. Add a contact name/number/email for the event.
e. Upload an image – ideally around 85 pixels but no larger than 2MB.
f. Select the neighbourhood, category and audience (you can select more than one category by holding down Ctrl while selecting your categories).
g. If you are a business and the event is at your venue tick the ‘this event is at my business venue.’
h. If your event has a relevant web address, twitter account and/or facebook page enter the details.
4) You will need to agree to our terms and conditions for having an event on Love Camden.
5) You can preview the page or save the information.
6) Your event has been added to the site. It will now appear under the relevant categories.
