Cumnock Academy is a secondary school in the west of Scotland (located in East Ayrshire), which is very proud of its active and vibrant music department. Their ensembles feature pupils in S1 – S6 (across the whole age range), who come together daily to make and enjoy a wide variety of music, ranging from light film music and songs from the musicals, through to jazz and swing music, through to contemporary popular music. The pupils do considerable work for their local community where their concerts are very popular and they are very much looking forward to performing as part of their tour to London!
