So you’ve seen the athletes on TV and you feel suitably inspired to try out a new sport or activity. Maybe you’d like to be the next Ennis or Farah, or possibly have your sights set a little more modestly and just want to try a new activity to keep fit and stay healthy.
Whatever your goal, there’s plenty of opportunities in the borough to try out many of the sports which feature in the Olympics.
Don't forget that we have free swimming in the borough. Thanks to medals from Michael Jamieson, Becky Adlington (x2), the Brownlee brothers, Tom Daley, Ellie Simmonds (x2), Jess Applegate, Jonathon Fox, Heather Frederiksen and Nicola Adams the prize pool is now complete with:
• 1,000 Better monthly swim memberships
• 500 Better or Parliament Hill Lido monthly swim memberships
• 2 Better annual all inclusive memberships
