Foundling Community Choir
Our Community Choir is a sociable, adult choir open to everyone. Whether you’re a regular choir attendee, or wanting to test out your vocal skills for the first time, we would love to meet you.
Established in 2009, the Community Choir continues the Foundling Hospital’s musical legacy which famously began with Handel’s involvement in the eighteenth century. Today the Choir is an ever-growing group of enthusiastic members from Camden and beyond, who share a passion for music and singing. Absolute beginners are welcome and no auditions are needed. You don’t need to be able to read music either.
- Socialise and meet new people from the local area
- Share your love of music with like-minded people
- Have fun learning a wide range of music
- Challenge yourself, gain a new skill and increase your confidence
- Escape the rush hour commute
The group meets for rehearsals every Monday evening from 18:30-20:15 in the Foundling Museum’s beautiful Picture Gallery. Enthusiastic new members, aged 18 and over, are always welcome.
