Russell Square Gardens is named after the Earls and Dukes of Bedford and was formed when new streets were laid out by the 5th Duke on the site of the gardens of his former home Bedford House. Russell Square is situated behind the British Museum in the South of the Borough.
This large square has multiple paths, expansive lawns, trees, a water fountain and an established Italian café open daily. Russell Square benefits from high footfall and is a popular lunchtime spot.
Previous events we have held in this space include company fun runs, technology showcases and product sampling, a comedy festival and charity events.
